There are many ways for women to be involved at Trinity, please find on this page a few of the ongoing options. Join us for worship, Bible studies, or read our newsletter to find other ways to be involved.
Lutheran Women’s Missionary League
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) was founded to help develop a greater mission awareness among women and to gather funds for mission projects not able to be funded in the LCMS budget. The vehicle for collecting these gifts (coins, quiet money or a check) is the mite box, a purple and white box. Mission project/grant goals are chosen at the annual convention.
In addition to collecting Mites, Trinity’s LWML attends conventions, leadership training workshops, and rallies and retreats. We provide the Lutheran Women’s Quarterly and Ohio District Edition (ODE) for inspirational reading and information on activities and mission grants. The LWML has program helps, Bible studies, educational, devotional and inspirational resources and materials to aid the Christian woman in her life’s walk.
Trinity’s LWML sponsors an annual breakfast with an inspirational speaker and assists with or sponsors other events to encourage fellowship among the women of Trinity.
We sponsor service projects such as the Hat and Mitten Tree for Seminarians and we collect food and clothing as needs arise.
We encourage all women at Trinity to support the LWML with her mites and prayers and to use her talents to “Serve the Lord with Gladness.”
Throughout the year the ladies of Altar Guild work to beautify our places of worship with their gifts of hospitality and art. Please join us and share your talents! Here are some of the areas in which they show skill and help us worship:
- Prepare the Table for The Lord’s Supper
- Make and maintain the banners in front of the Church
- Decorating for the seasons of church year

Early Morning Prayer
Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.
Every Wednesday morning at 6:30 a.m. women gather in the sanctuary to pray. They pray for their own concerns, but also for the concerns of our church family. This is open to all women and they welcome new people to join them. In addition to praying for the needs of the church and others, they also pray for you on your birthday. What a blessing to be lifted up in prayer by these women!! If you are unable to join them, but have a prayer request, they are happy to include you in their time of prayer. Just contact Melissa Kisandi and they will lift up your prayer on Wednesday morning.
It is important to spend time talking to our Heavenly Father. Please consider joining them for this wonderful ministry opportunity.
