  • Graduate degrees in history with a specialty in the Reformation from The Ohio State University (M.A. & PhD)
  • Frequent guest on Issues Etc. talk radio and internet program
  • Assistant to the LCMS President from 1994-2001 and past VP of the Missouri District of the LCMS
  • Adjunct professor at Moberly Area Community College; past teaching experience at Concordia Theological Seminary and Concordia College in Ann Arbor
